Location This resort is located in the heart of Phang-Nga Bay on the Andaman Sea. It is surrounded by 42 beautiful islands and is easy to reach via a short 40-minute crossing by speed boat from Phuket (Bang Rong pier) or Krabi (Ao Nang or Thalen pier). Facilities Built in 2009, this property is a boutique hideaway, a private and peaceful retreat on the gentle shores of Koh Yao Yai that captures the enchantment of the unspoilt natural surroundings. This beach hotel comprises a total of 40 rooms, a terrace and a garden. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby, a currency exchange facility, a restaurant and an air-conditioned library with Internet access. Guests can also take advantage of the laundry service and there is a bicycle hire service available (for an additional fee). Rooms Each of the private bungalows is individually styled in soft furnishings and decorated with Thai folk art featuring handcrafted woodcarvings. The outdoor living area is a great way to appreciate the natural tropical forest surroundings. The rooms offer full amenities and all come with a large private outdoor bathroom with a rain shower and a hairdryer and offer a king-size or double bed. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a safe and a fridge. Furthermore, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning are provided in all accommodation as standard and all units feature a terrace. Sports/Entertainment This hotel features an outdoor infinity pool and poolside snack bar overlooking the sandy beach and the islands beyond. Guests can also enjoy the activity centre, which offers sightseeing tours, bicycle tours (charges apply), fishing, batik painting and local handicrafts. Meals The hotel offers a continental breakfast; local and international cuisine is offered a la carte for lunch and dinner. Payment American Express, JCB, MasterCard and VISA are accepted at this hotel. Misc. Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is no later than 12 pm. A 24-hr reception desk is available. The electricity supply is 220 volts. How to get there To arrive at the resort, land transfers can be arranged to take guests to the pier for the connecting sea transfer from either Phuket or Krabi International Airport or from any hotel in Phuket, Khao Lak, Aonang and Krabi. Upon arriving at the island of Koh Yao Yai, a hotel representative will meet guests at the pier and provide a direct free transfer to the resort.
