Hotel Katarina is situated on a wonderful island opposite the historical core of Rovinj. The island, sharing its name with the hotel, is the second biggest island within the Rovinj Archipelago. It features abundant Mediterranean vegetation, organized promenades and 19th century parks, magnificent views of the town, Zlatni Rt park forest and the rest of the Rovinj Archipelago. It is also distinctive for the historical remains of an old castle integrated in the hotel, giving it a touch of Austro-Hungarian romance. Hotel facilities include: restaurant and 2 grill points, pool bar, blue bar, outdoor pool and children's pool, meeting hall, Internet point. The beach is a beautiful pebble and rocky beach. There is a special beach for children. For all sports lovers there are: Tennis court, table tennis, beach volleyball court, mini golf, Tennis school, fitness, boat hire (large boat with a skipper on board) and windsurfing school on St. Andrew's Island. The Katarina has a total of 120 accommodation units, of which 61 in the main building (double rooms, superior double rooms and a deluxe suite) and 59 in the annex (double rooms, suites, family rooms with separate bedrooms for parents and children, and a deluxe suite). All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid Credit Card that will be charged on arrival date. Turn right toward Route 401 and take the 1st left toward Route 401. Turn left at Route 401 and drive 1. 5 km. Continue onto Route 66 1. 2 km. Take the ramp onto A9 7. 1 km. Take the exit 0. 7 km and continue straight 1. 4 km. Turn right and after 500m go slightly left toward Route 5073. Drive 2. 9 km. Turn left at Route 5073 8. 2 km. Turn left at Route 5096 and continue 12. 9 km. At Kriu, take the 2nd exit onto Istarska and continue onto Giosuce Carduccija. You will arrive to Rovinj. Since the hotel is on the island, located in the Rovinj archipelago, the hotel is organizing a comfortable 10 minute ride with their boats, as well as parking of your car. You can receive all necessary information about parking your car, transfer and transport by boat at the Information point. The Information point of the hotel is located at the pier Delfin, right next to the roundabout, where you will see the name of the Hotel Katarina written in blue and where you will be greeted by hotel's courteous staff. The departure time of the boat is as listed in the departure timetable nearly every hour between 06. 00 and 24. 00 hr.
