Opened on the 30th September 2005, we are the closest Qualmark Rated Motel Complex to the Town Centre. The hotel offers 20 spacious, self contained units all with cooking facilities. The hotel has 4 x 2 bedroom units, 6 x 1 bedroom units and 10 x studio/twin units. All units have TV/DVD in each bedroom. Some units have spa baths and air-conditioning. The hotel has king/queen size beds, solar heated swimming pool, outdoor spa pool and sauna all on site to make your stay a pleasure. Wireless broadband internet to all units. Continental breakfasts available if requested. The hotel offers full conference facilities for up to 40 persons. We are a 5 minute walk to the town centre, cafes and resturants. We are located at 16/18 Churchill Street, State Highway 1, Kaikoura, which is the main road heading to/from Picton-Christchurch. We are 2 hours from the Picton ferries and 2. 5 hours to Christchurch. While in Kaikoura you have a range of activities to do from Whale watching, swimming with seals and dolphins, fishing trips, quad bike tours, horse back riding, 4 wheel drive adventures, winery tours and sampling, Maori culture tours and golf. All tours can be booked for you in advance, free of charge.
