Historically Jowhara was a small camp consisting of bamboo huts, which has grown over the years into a 55 room hotel and has been owned by a local Bedouin family named "El Towery" for over 20 years. The hotel is still run today by the family and a small Bedouin team and they work hard to keep the ancient traditions alive. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with bathroom en-suite and hot water at any time of the day. Some rooms have air conditioning while others a fan, and in the garden there is an "arisha" - a shaded open resting place - for you to relax. There is free Wi-Fi, a cafe and we can help you on site to arrange everything you need including air-port transfers, diving, safari, hiking, belly dancing, yoga, wind surfing or anything else you fancy having a go at. Although the hotel is centrally based in Dahab, it is very quiet, peaceful and tranquil with gardens of green grass and plants. Newly opened café in the hotel and you are only minutes away from the many restaurants along the sea front.
