Apraksts
Be one of the lucky few to scuba dive in the pelagic rich waters of Cano Island or explore one of the last remaining virgin lowland tropical rainforests of Corcovado National Park. Splendidly isolated in the tiny community of Drake Bay, Costa Rica, Jinetes De Osa is a friendly beachside retreat one hours boat ride down the jungle lined banks of the Sierpe River. Here the nature lover can enjoy a fantastic variety of life both above as well as below the water with the original PADI dive center in the area (Costa Rica Adventure Divers). Upon arrival, you can immediately enjoy secluded beaches, deserted waterfalls and walking among one of the largest nesting populations of Scarlet Macaws in Costa Rica. The resort consists of three buildings located on the beach and twenty acres of rain forest. Currently, the resort has 11 rooms in two of the three buildings and a dining room and kitchen in the third. During the months of December-May you can eat your breakfast on the deck of the dining room while watching the humpback whales migrate across the bay. The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. At night, the fresh tropical breeze carries the sound of the ocean into your room; a most effective cure for stress based insomnia. Fresh baked bread, fresh fish from the local fishermen, and wonderfully ripe local fruits, supplement the Mexican and Italian dishes served in the dining room. The cool comfortable mornings are the time for activities, horse back riding, beach combing, fishing, hiking, swimming and scuba diving all begin early.
