Originally built in 1904, as a coaching Inn and is situated on the edge of the picturesque honeypot village of Grasmere. Under new management, the owners are refurbishing to bring a fresh decor and relaxed, calm atmosphere. Guests are greeted with a warm welcome and are encouraged to come and go as they please with their own key. We wish for you to get the very best from your stay and will happily advise on what to do and where to go should you need to know. With fruit, cereal and a full English, we don't want you to leave hungry and strive for all our food to be clean, tasty and healthy. All ingredients are soured locally wherever possible-if you have any special requirements please let us know. Ivy Dene has a total of four ensuite shower rooms. All rooms come with teacoffee facilities, flat screen digital TV's, toiletries and hair driers. Free WI-Fi covers the whole of the building. All rooms are comfortable and cosy and they all offer panoramic views of the surrounding fells and countryside.
