The Inn at Middleton Place is tucked away among tall evergreens and oaks on a high steep bank overlooking the Ashley River. The inn has notable architectural features, and has won the American Institute of Architects highest award. The Inn at Middleton Place is within short driving distance to the Charleston International Airport. Unique features in the guestrooms at the Inn at Middleton Place include complimentary gift baskets and floor to ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. The plantation shutters add to the ambiance. Rooms are furnished with refrigerators, and the bathrooms have huge 150-gallon tubs. Guests appreciate the marble baths. Some rooms have wood-burning fireplaces. Decor is kept to a minimum to fit the natural setting. Rollaways are provided upon request (a surcharge applies). The Inn at Middleton Place has 53 rooms and offers unique complimentary amenities, such as admission to Middleton Place Plantation, the oldest landscaped gardens in the U.S. Also included in your stay are healthy start breakfast and receptions at nightfall.
