The hotel Ingles is located on a narrow, busy street in the Gothic Quarter, just seconds away from Las Ramblas and Calle Ferran which is a main road full of bars, shops and cafes. Next to the hotel is a cafe with free internet, and just 2 buildings down is the Travel Bar, a famous meeting place for international travelers. There is a bank on the corner as you go towards Las Ramblas, where you will also find most other things you could need, like Pharmacies and newsstands. The nearest metro stop is on Las Ramblas and is called Liceu. Calle Boqueria is also the main street for wholesalers in case you are in Barcelona on a serious shopping trip!
