Il Giglio, is a beautiful 3 star hotel right in the old town centre of Corinaldo, which was once an Agostinian monastery and dates back to the XVIII century. It is three floors high and surrounds the old cloister in the centre. Our friendly helpful and multilingual staff will do all they can to make your stay a memorable and pleasant one. Do visit our bar Il Giglio and try for yourself the wonderful wines and cakes of the Marche area. Il Giglio has 24 beautiful bedrooms, which were formerly the monks' cells, with every comfort: ensuite bathroom, tv, telephone, heating and desk. Internet connection is available in the main area downstairs. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and offers a rich choice. What better to start the day than with one of our homemade cakes!Corinaldo was awarded the title of turistic destination of excellence by France in 2008 and is a truly lovely place to visit. It has a lovely atmosphere and is the birthplace of Saint Maria Goretti. In 2007 Corinaldo was voted among the most beautiful towns in Italy and it boasts the best preserved medieval wall (1 km long) in the whole of the Marche region. This is religious and artistic town. It is the birthplace of Saint Maria Goretti and is the ideal place to set off and visit surrounding places such as Senigallia Urbino, Loreto, the Caves of Frasassi and the marvellous Marchigiano countryside
