Hotel Castello del Poggiarello is situated in Stigliano, amongst the hills, which lead down to the Maremma, near the coast, and Siena. It is very close to the treasures of Siena and just a short drive from Florence as well. The ancient tower and buildings form a sort of square on the top of a hill, with panoramic views across a fertile plain to Siena and the Chianti hills. Our hotel contains 3 village houses and a medieval tower with gardens in an historic group of houses above the village of Stigliano. You can choose and have the flat "Loggia", a room in "Casa Ventura" or in the "Capanna". They are all equipped with a central heating, a bathromm and a shower room. This village offers a friendly atmosphere, many a beautiful sights and a fabulous local restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. Guests may walk or ride mountain bikes to explore this quiet oasis of peace and natural beauty further and even arrange to go up in a balloon.
