The Ryokan, traditional Japanese accommodation, is located on the coast of Atami. It takes 10 minutes walk or only 3 minutes by taxi from JR Atami station on bullet train (Tokaido Shinkansen). It takes 50 minutes from Tokyo and 180 minutes from Osaka by the bullet train. The Ryokan has public hot spring bath located at Ocean view terrace. This is a good choice for guests who would like to enjoy hot spring at traditional style accommodation, Ryokan, near Tokyo. It is a modern, 9-storey white building on the cost of Atami Sun Beach. All rooms are large with panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. They are in traditional Japanese style with Tatami floor (straw mats) and there is no bed facility of Western product. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Tatami mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons (sleeping quilt) into a sleeping area by room-maid. They are also equipped with modern facilities like a television (local language program only), air-condition and in room safe. Each room has its private bathroom. (Hot water from tap in the bathroom is from hot spring. ) Rooms are clean and in good condition. Dinner and breakfast are served in room individually if included in plan. There is a lounge next to the reception for relaxing with a view of the Ocean. Dinner is not available, if the guest arrives after 19:00 o'clock on evening. It is medium with some sitting space and panoramic view of the Ocean. 1 km to the nearest station (atami), 1 kms to city centre, 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 121 kms to the airport (mt. fuji shizuoka), 175 kms to the airport (narita), Close to the beach.
