Rgen is Germany's prettiest Baltic Sea island and enjoys unique natural landscapes with white sand beaches, beautiful woods and famous spas. The IFA Rugen Hotel & Ferien Park complex is surrounded by a picturesque coastal landscape and has its own park, various spacious, sunny rooms and apartments, along with attic rooms with a view of the coast and the sea. Within around 1 km, guests will find the nearest train station and bus stop. Rostock is located around 80 km away. Renovated in 2005, the air-conditioned buildings feature 393 apartments for 3 to 5 persons. In 'Ostseeblick' building there are 142 modern and cosy rooms to choose from. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a lift, a bar, a restaurant, a caf and a nightclub. Arguably the most tempting aspect of the hotel is the 3,000m "Vitarium", with the latest offers of its kind on the island. There are palms, a stream and a small shopping passage with a hairdresser and a bakery. Internet access, conference facilities, a kids club, a teens club and a playground complete the range of facilities available. Each of the modern rooms include an en suite bathroom with shower and a hairdryer, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, a small lounge and a balcony. The rooms also include a tea/coffee maker, a safe and heating. The "Vitarium" includes the aqua park Vitamar with various saunas, spa treatments and physiotherapy. Daily entertainment programmes are organised with lively sports and creative opportunities for children offered. In addition, older guests are able to use the "Vitarium" and enjoy a tap beer in the entertaining atmosphere of the "Plaza" bar. Within around 25 km guests will find the nearest golf course. The restaurant serves all meals, either la carte or from the buffet.
