Hydrangea House Inn, c. 1876, was constructed by the noted Newport architect, Dudley Newton. Newton built homes mostly in Newport and was famous here for the Newton Roof. This property is recognized by the Rhode Island Historical Society for its architectural details and uniqueness. The inn was completely remodeled-redesigned in the winter of 2004 and 2005. Located on historic Bellevue Avenue, the property is approximately 30 miles from Providence and 70 miles from Boston. Inn amenities include-King suites and queen standard rooms, private baths, two person showers, steam baths in suites, pillow top mattresses, fine bed linens and plush Turkish towels in bath, fireplaces, two person spa tubs in suites, flat screen HDTV, free WIFI in all rooms, suites and common areas, full gourmet breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese hour, free onsite parking, daily maid service and nightly turndown service. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
