The Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens is an elegant luxury hotel located in the lively and fashionable West End of the city, with its green terraces and large Victorian houses. It is only a few minutes on foot to countless attractions, such as fashionable shops and art shops. Restaurants and links to the public transport networks can be found directly in front of the hotel, while a range of shops, bars, pubs, and nightclubs are around 700 m away. Constructed in 1850 and renovated in 2004, this luxury hotel comprises a total of 35 rooms, of which three are suites, and is appointed with antique and original Scottish artworks from the past. Facilities on offer include an impressive foyer with 24-hour reception, safe, a currency exchange counter, and a cloakroom. There is a bar and a restaurant serving award-winning excellent cuisine with highchairs available for children, as well as conference room for business guests. Room and laundry services complete the offerings, and there is an attractive garden with a relaxing terrace. There are on-site parking spaces available for guests with cars. The comfortable and modern rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio alarm clock, a hi-fi, and an Internet connection. A minibar, a double or king-size bed, central heating, and a hire safe are also standard in all rooms. The hotel features a spa area with a range of offerings. A personal yoga trainer can be booked (also in guests' rooms) on request, while sports enthusiasts can try a workout in the gym. A personal trainer can also be booked for the latter. The nearest golf course is around 16 km from the hotel. Breakfast is served to guests every day. Evening meals may be selected from the set menu. Furthermore, special dietary requirements can be catered for as well as individual specific dishes prepared. Half-board stays may also be booked.
