The stylish Hotel des Artistes enjoys a stunning location in the centre of Rome, although on a peaceful side street. It is just a few minutes from the underground station, Castro Pretorio, and Termini main train station, around 500 m away. Countless sightseeing attractions, shops, restaurants, bars, taverns, museums, nightclubs and further entertainment venues are within walking distance or easily reached with public transport. Ciampino airport is located around 30 km from the hotel, while Fiumicino airport is roughly 35 km away. Built in 1850, the Hotel des Artistes comprises a total of 33 rooms spread over 5 floors. The inviting foyer on the first floor includes a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access. The fully air-conditioned hotel also comprises a bar, where guests are able to meet and relax. Three public Internet terminals are additionally on offer (with charge). Medical services are available for an added fee. The traditional non-smoking hotel has retained its charming antique style. During fine weather, guests are also able to access the stunning roof terrace that features orange trees and a variety of plants and flowers. The international members of staff are welcoming and happy to book walking and coach tours for guests, as well as selling opera tickets, making restaurant reservations and providing all the tourist information that guests may require. This family run hotel offers a warm welcome and is the perfect base from which to explore the city. Each of the tasteful rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with shower, bidet, marble washbasin and hairdryer. Further fittings include direct dial telephone, Internet connection, satellite/ cable TV, double bed, air conditioning (individually regulated), central heating and hire safe. Furthermore, the rooms are soundproof and feature mahogany furniture, antique paintings or original artwork and rich fabrics making, it the perfect retreat for a relaxing stay in Rome. Remarks: The whole hotel is a smoke-free zone. Check-in is possible around the clock. Guests may also leave their luggage free of charge. The hotel does not have triple room for 2 adults and 1 child, there is only the possibility to add a cot for a child until 5 years old.
