The Hotel da Aldeia is a 3-star hotel that is situated in the tourist complex of Areias De S. Joao and adjoins the Oura Beach. It is located just two kilometers from Albufeira and 15 kilometers from a golf course and carting track. The Hotel da Aldeia is located 38 kilometers from the Faro International Airport. Travel throughout the city is easy by many means including taxi, rental car and bicycle or on foot. At the Hotel da Aldeia there are 133 rooms spread out over five floors. Guestrooms are equipped with a telephone, air conditioning, satellite television, a safe deposit box and all have their own balcony to view the surrounding scenic landscapes. The Hotel da Aldeia was built in 1973 and newly renovated in 2003. Just inside, it offers a spacious lobby with lifts. Guests are also offered a currency exchange desk, TV room, 24-hour reception, a games room, and conference room with Internet access. The hotel also has two swimming pools for children and adults, a tennis court and miniature golf.
