The pleasant Hotel D'Or Tobago is just a short distance from long sandy beaches and only minutes from the centre of Palma Nova. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. There is an excellent golf course under 3 miles away and a tennis court less than 2 miles from the hotel. The Tobago Hotel was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 1998, and some refurbishments in 2006 and 2007. It offers a total of 274 guestrooms spread over 9 floors, of which 20 are singles and 254 double/twin rooms. Guests are offered a spacious foyer with lifts, a currency exchange desk and a TV room. In addition, the hotel offers an air-conditioned restaurant. The hotel also provides parking facilities for those arriving by car and a small peaceful garden. The homely rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV (fee), central heating and their own safe. For those looking to exercise or relax, the hotel offers a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. An entertainment programme, archery and a snooker table are also on offer to guests.
