The “Blechernkrug” was mentioned in the “Mecklenburger Staatskalender” (a regional calendar of the state of Mecklenburg) in 1793 when it used to be located right next to a highly frequented stagecoach intersection. The „Hotel Zum Forsthof Blechernkrug“ has been a familiy- run business since the 1820s. Ever since the hotel has been standing for extraordinary hospitality and for the charm of the region.
