Location The hotel is very conveniently located for business and leisure travellers alike. Found in the heart of Paris in the well-known area of les Grands Boulevards, it is within walking distance of many attractions such as the Opera Garnier, Grevin wax museum, the famous Parisian department stores and the Drouot Auction Room. Public transportation offers direct and easy access to Montmartre, Modern Art Georges Pompidou Centre, the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower, amongst other destination Facilities The building has existed as a hotel since 1820 and is a piece of lively, historic Paris. Fully air-conditioned and comprising a total of 24 rooms, it was extensively renovated in 2008. Facilities available include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock and a hire safe. Guests may also take advantage of the lift access, the breakfast room, the bar, the Internet connection via WLAN (charges apply), the room service (charges apply), and the parking facilities with special rates for guests. Rooms The rooms in this hotel are large in comparison with the majority of guest rooms at other hotels in this category. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are tastefully appointed with simplicity and cleanliness. Standard fittings provided include a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a flat-screen TV (with 42 international channels), a hire safe, a minibar, and a direct dial telephone. The rooms are further air-conditioned and soundproof. In addition, a double bed and a sitting area are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. Triple rooms are available with either 3 single beds or 1 double and 1 single bed. Junior Suites are available with 2 single beds or 1 double bed with a sitting area, or up to 4 persons with 4 single beds or 1 double and 2 single beds. Sports/Entertainment There is a Club Med Gym with special rates for guests located very close to the hotel. Meals Guests can select their breakfast from a buffet. Bed and breakfast stays can be booked. Payment All major credit cards, such as American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard and VISA, are accepted as methods of payment. How to get there By car, guests should take the Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle as far as Rue d'Hauteville on the right-hand side. The Rue Gabriel Laumain is the third street on the left. By Metro, alight at Bonne Nouvelle (lines 8 and 9), which is the nearest station and is about 5 minutes' away on foot. From Roissy CDG Airport, take the RER B until Gare du Nord station, then take the Metro line 4 in the direction of Porte d'Orleans and alight at Strasbourg Saint Denis. From here, take Metro line 9 (direction Pont de Sevres) for one station to Bonne Nouvelle. From Orly Airport, take the Orlyval until Anthony. Then, take the RER B until Chatelet Les Halles, take line 4 in the direction of Porte de Clignancourt and alight at Strasbourg Saint Denis. From here, take Metro line 9 (direction Pont de Sevres) for one station to Bonne Nouvelle.
