Located in the village of Abalos, one of the most interesting tourist destinations in Spain, the Villa de Abalos is a 3 star hotel of La Rioja surrounded by fields and vineyards. Abalos is a small village situated in the southern foothills of the Sierra Cantabria, and with its sunny location attracts hikers, lovers of nature and those interested in discovering excellent wines and gastronomy or cultural and historic places such as the Museum of Bilbao, the old cathedral of Vitoria, the fossilised dinosaur tracks at Enciso and the Sierra Cebollera Nature Park. Stone, wood and wrought iron are combined to create an ambience modern and traditional at the same time. The ground floor hosts the common areas, the reception desk, the lounges, the sun terrace, the garden and the car park. The cellar and dining room offer a selection of the best local Spain's La Rioja region wines and specialities. The old orchard is now a garden while a small library with books about wine and literature on the local area, a selection of games and relaxing music is available in one of the hotel's lounges.
