Come to the Hotel Sedes—formerly known as the Seabreeze Hotel, Scheveningen—for a memorable holiday in The Hague’s seaside resort district. Located just 150 metres/165 yards from the beach, it’s a friendly historic hotel in Scheveningen. The Hotel Sedes is in one of the most beautiful historic buildings in Scheveningen, which was first established as a hotel in 1880. Newly re-opened after being recently renovated, it has a pleasant informal atmosphere. Past guests have given it positive reviews for the warm welcome and hospitality shown to guests. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room each morning. Private parking is not included in the room rate and costs €10,00. The hotel is located at the centre of town, a short walk from the sandy beach and the Scheveningen Pier. It’s just 2 blocks from the Beelden aan Zee (Pictures to the Sea) sculpture museum. Built entirely underground, the museum cannot be seen from the sand dunes, but it has terraces that offer views of the sea. Also within walking distance are the Sea Life Scheveningen aquarium, the 19th-century resort hotel called the Kurhaus, the Scheveningen Lighthouse (De Vuurtoren van Scheveningen), and Westbroek Park.
