Since 1146 Schloss Mailberg is in the hand of the Sovereign Order of Malta, overlooking the gentle hills of the Weinviertel, in the mid of vineyards. 6 Luxury Rooms and 5 noble Suites invite you to experience „Living in a Schloss“.Slowing down and finding the gentle pace in silence, hiking through the vineyards, is most relaxing. Activities include Tennis, Horesriding, biking on trails through the vineyards, fishing, hunting as well as excursions to beautifully preserved medieval towns of the Bohemian-Moravian frontier such as Retz, Znoijmo, Laa, the thermal springs and the National Park „Thayatal“ along the Austrian- Czech border. Our winery is producing the famous „Gruner Veltliner“ „Groo-ve“, Malteser Sparkling and Weinviertel DAC, all to taste in our Vinothek. The winemakers of „Mailberg Valley“ invite you to visit their cellars, where you‘ll get to know a local tradition called „Offene Kellerture“ and make their personal acquaintance. Weddings in our parish church on the castle premises, the wonderful courtyard and our Restaurant Schlosskeller are fairy-tale stories. Your event and meeting is perfectly organised for up to 300 guests in our Kaminzimmer and our Wappensaal.
