This distinctive and majestic Victorian building proudly overlooks Ryde Esplanade and Marina. The hotels Brasserie has a warm, opulent atmosphere and is open every evening for dinner. The comprehensive a la carte menu is complemented by an extensive wine list. The bar serves tasty bar meals, snacks and real ales. Some of the comfortable en-suite rooms have four poster beds and many command sea views. Weddings and conferences are a speciality of The Ryde Castle and the fully equipped Tudor room ( one of 2 function rooms ) can cater for up to 200 guests. Wonderfully situated on the sea front in Ryde only 2 minutes from the Hovercraft and Catamaran given easy access to Portsmouth and Southsea (only 10 minutes away). Newport and Cowes are both a 15 minute drive from Ryde or can be easily reached on the local bus service. The beach front Hotel is situated on the Esplanade, near the hovercraft terminal (for foot passengers arriving from PortsmouthSouthsea) and the Catamaran terminal (for foot passengers arriving from Portsmouth) The hotel is a eight minute drive fom Fishbourne Harbour(for passengers travelling by car from Portsmouth).
