The Thomsen Hotel and Restaurant is a well-known, successful, privately run establishment in Delmenhorst. Over the decades, the Thomsen family have built up a modern and innovative hotel and restaurant business from beginning as a public house. The Thomsen Hotel and Restaurant is located at the former entrance to the town in the East of Delmenhorst with good transport links to the centre of Delmenhorst (2 km), to the A1 motorway (6 km), to Bremen Airport, the trade fair centre and Weserstadion, home of Werder Bremen football club, all between 10-12 km away, as well as to Oldenburg, which is about 40 km away on the A28 motorway. The Thomsen Hotel and Restaurant has 79 rooms, which fulfil the demands of any modern hotel guest. The new building is designed with relaxation in mind, offering comfortable rooms, suites, gym, sauna and solarium.
