The Hotel Lunia offers comfortable accommodation in Ooststellingwerf – Netherlands . This three star Ooststellingwerf hotel is located in a building which dates back to the 1800’s. It is in South East Friesland, an area of rich natural wonder, where there is much you can do to entertain yourself out of doors. There are many cycle and walking paths in the area. You can also try canoeing, horseback riding, picnicking, Nordic walking, playing a round of golf, or take a walking tour using a GPS device. You may also visit the National Park Weerribben and take a boat tour. After a long day doing one of the above mentioned activities, you can return to the Hotel Lunia for a pleasant evening. The hotel features a restaurant, serving up delicious French- Dutch cuisine, which changes seasonally. In the warmer months, you can dine out on the terrace. Private dining is also a possibility. The hotel gives one the feeling of being in a past era. It is filled with antique furnishings and has a charming decor. There is a cafe where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee surrounded by a wall of windows looking out onto the lovely scenery. There is also a relaxation room, a meeting room, and a garden. If you wish to be active, you can play tennis on either of the two courts at the hotel. Other amenities include a bridal chamber, a banqueting service, bike rentals, a bicycle storage room, and a laundry service. Please Note: Reception will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. until 31 May 2011. From 1 June 2011 the reception will be open everyday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
