Opened in May 1999 (read our history) and with the completion of additional rooms in 2006, the Hotel Residencial S. Algarve now has 40 guest rooms. It is in the centre of Faro, a two-minute walk from the Railway Station, a five-minute walk from the principal bus terminal from which buses to all other parts of Portugal depart, and 7km from the Internation Faro Airport. The yacht marina and Faro's historical centre are a five-minute walk away. This prime location is ideal for both business and leisure guests. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, telephone, cable television, and air conditioning. Some rooms are equipped for disabled guests. A lift facilitates access to all floors. Complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning. Laundry service and secure parking in the hotel's underground garage are also available. Our helpful, friendly and efficient staff, our tranquil decor, and our peaceful ambience have earned us a good reputation, as is reflected in most guidebooks as well as in many complimentary letters from previous guests.
