This Freiburg hotel can be found on the sunny side of the cathedral, and sits facing the beautiful 116 meter high tower. In the square around the tower travelers will find a wonderful market which is open 6 days a week. Nearly all of the city’s famous sights can be reached from the Hotel Rappen on foot, and those that are farther out can be reached by tram. The town’s main station is a single kilometer from the Hotel Rappen. The Hotel Rappen features a total of 36 beds and an elevator. All of the accommodations have a bath or shower, toilet, TV, telephone, and free wireless Internet access. Non-smoking and allergy proof rooms are available. The Hotel Rappen is furnished in the traditional Black Forest style and was completely renovated in 2004. Guests looking to enjoy a delicious meal can head to the in-house restaurant, known for serving some of the best meals in the city. Traditional dishes and select wines are available in the property’s three dining rooms, and in warmer weather guests can enjoy their food outside on the cobblestone square.
