Renovated in 2010, the Pulitzer Hotel is a boutique hotel with a modern design which radiates a certain cosmopolitan cool and comprises a total of 44 rooms. It is housed in a historical building and features newly refurbished interiors using high quality materials and the latest technology. Far from being a standard hotel, the ground floor is full of details which pack it with personality. Everything has been placed just so, so that the space shouldn't look or feel like a hotel and there are plenty of non-standard elements which move away from traditional hotel design. The tranquillity of the hotel echoes in all corners of the building and makes it an ideal place to relax after a long day on the tourist trail in Paris. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned, family-friendly city establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and lift access. It is ideal for business travellers and holidaymakers alike and offers a caf, a bar and a breakfast room. Guests have conference facilities and WLAN Internet access at their disposal. They can also take advantage of the room and laundry services and it is possible to hire bicycles on the premises. This hotel is located in the centre of Paris, in the Opera district, very near to Rue Drouot, with its many specialist antiquarian book dealers, Galeries Lafayette (800 m), the Pompidou Centre, the Louvre Museum (1.4 km), and the French Stock Exchange. It is 1.2 km to Gare du Nord railway station, 1.7 km to Sacre Coeur church, 2.1 km to Notre Dame and 3.7 km to the Eiffel Tower. The bedrooms have micro-cement floors and industrial iron furniture which contrasts with their 1950s lamps and white walls and bed linen. The basins are made of the same kind of marble as the Taj Mahal. The rooms offer double/queen-size or 2 twin beds. All rooms come with a private bathroom with a micro-cement shower or bathtub, a hairdryer and special amenities. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a safe and a minibar. Furthermore, individually regulated air conditioning and heating are provided in all accommodation as standard and all rooms feature either a balcony or a terrace. Guests can enjoy the poolside snack bar. Guests can select their breakfast from a buffet.
