The Hotel Portofino is a beautiful Costa Brava holiday accommodation in Empuriabrava, the largest residential marina in the world. The hotel is located on the Portofino channel and within walking distance of the beach. Guests staying at the Hotel Portofino in Empuriabrava are invited to take advantage of its newly built outdoor swimming pool. A meeting room can accommodate groups of up to 35 people. Mediterranean dishes and seafood are specialties of the hotel’s rustic restaurant. The British-style bar, called Ocean’s Irish Tavern, serves a variety of beers, wines, cocktails, liquors, and coffees. Constructed 30 years ago, Empuriabrava (also spelled Ampuriabrava) is a massive marina complex with more than 30 km/18.6 miles of navigable canals, earning it the nickname of The Spanish Venice. Facilities at Empuriabrava include discos, shops, a medical centre, pharmacies, boat rental, mini golf, a tennis centre, and an equestrian centre. One of the most popular Costa Brava water parks, Aquabrava Park Acuatic, is located outside of the city of Roses, approx. 4.4 km/2.7 miles to the northwest.
