Hotel Phoenix in Hjoerring has 68 rooms including 2 suites. All the rooms were totally renovated in 2010. The guests have free parking in the locked parking lot of the hotel. Free wireless Internet. The hotel offers mini holidays and golf holidays - the nearest golf course is situated only 5 minutes drive from the hotel and in addition there are 6 courses within a short distance. The hotel has room for up to 100 meeting participants and all AV equipment is available. Meetings and courses can be arranged both with and without boarding. Hotel Phoenix is situated right in the centre of Vendsyssels main town Hjoerring and this has been the case right since the 1st of May 1885. After the war the hotel got new owners and they gave the hotel its present name - Hotel Phoenix. According to the mythology the firebird Phoenix lives for many years before it burns up and resurrects. This is precisely what happened to the hotel - at first it was renovated from top to bottom and later on it was extended with a new storey. The target of the owner and the skilled staff is to combine the proud historical traditions with the demands and wishes of the present time and of the future and to create a hotel which gives the guests the optimal experience. Today the hotel is run as a hotel which only serves breakfast and it has specialized in courses- meetings- conferences- and parties. The previous a la carte restaurant is converted into a bar with soft furniture and it is open day and night - no matter whether you wish a cop of coffee or a pint of draught beer. The hotel is really a good starting point for experiencing the atmosphere and the sights of the Top of Denmark - right from the North Sea to Skagen. Hjoerring has a lively shopping milieu with among other things the new and large shopping centre Metropol.
