Located in Tulum on the magical Mayan coast of the caribbean, Papaya Playa is nestled amongst the trees, overlooking the white sand coast of the stunning caribbean. Everything you need to relax: a cabana surrounded of tropical plants, built in wood and "estuco" (natural material used by the old mayans), with palapa roof (thatch built with natural materials), just a few steps from the caribbean sea and with design and materials that aloud the sea breeze to go in. Some of our cabanas have a terrace and an hammock. Our hotel caters to the guest seeking an alternative to big resort vacations. Our restaurant, bar and cabanas are surrounded by tropical plants and white sand walkways, creating a very informal and naturally ambiante retreat. With less emphasis on architecture we have created an environment where guests can rest mind and body and natures simple pleasures replenish the soul. We have a beach volley and a beach soccer court which our guests can use free of charge, we offer massages on the beach, rent snorkel and other water sports equipment which come at an extra cost.apaya Playa Beach Club offers the perfect combination of ambiance, relaxation and fun. If you want to do sports, enjoy the variety of our delicious Sushi Bar or simply lie in the sun, Papaya Playa has it all. Our professional waiting staff will be happy to take your orders and serve you relaxing on one of our luxurious beach beds. If you are renting a car then once on highway 307, which can be approached from either end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, it's just one straight road. You'll pass by Puerto Morelos, Playa Del Carmen, Xcaret and Xel Ha before reaching Tulum. Signposts are very clear and the town is hard to miss.
