Located just outside the centre of Cittadella, a medieval city with a castle of the XIII century, all surrounded my a moat. The hotel is 49km away from Venice, 33km from Padova and 40km from Treviso and Verona. This is a good hotel with a great location to explore the nearby Art cities and to also explore the medieval town of Cittadella itself. This small twon is famous for its walls representing one of the best preserved examples in Europe of a medieval defensive system. The 4 entrances to the town represented by four Gates oriented to the main closest towns and each correspond to the 4 cardinal points: Porta Treviso towards the East, Porta Padua to the South, Porta Vicenza to the West and Porta Bassano to the North. The building itself is a 40m high tower with avant-guard architectonic solutions. It represents the tallest building in the area with superb panoramic views over the ancient walls of the medieval town of Cittadella. All the rooms are traditional in style and comfortable. All the bedrooms are equipped with satellite TV, pay TV, mini-bar, safety box, also each room is provided with a lovely balcony with a pleasant view. Lobby is spacious and full of light, very elegantly finished with marbles, crystals, fine and original paintings and Murano glasses from the Venetian tradition. The hotel offers different areas where the guests can take their dinners: in the elegant gourmet restaurant La Campana d'Oro ideal place to taste some of the exquisite local and traditional specialities with meat and fish menus, located on the ground floor. Or guests can reach the fine panoramic restaurant on the 9th floor where candlelight dinner can be taken. 1 km to the nearest fair site, 1 km to the nearest station (cittadella), 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 3 kms to city centre, 40 kms to the airport (verona), 45 kms to the airport (marco polo).
