This stone rural hotel offers 26 rooms and was built in 1886. The 2009 renovation work respects the original building but incorporates modern elements in the finishing and wood decor. It has a panoramic lift, heating and air conditioning in all facilities. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception. There is also a reading and games room, caf, terrace and a playground for children. Additional facilities include lift access, a TV lounge and Internet access. Conference facilities are also available. Those arriving by car may use the hotel car park, and bicycles can be hired for a fee. Situated at the foot of the Pyrenees of Lleida, in the Pallars Juss, this rural hotel is close to nature. Guests can enjoy the many activities offered in the area, and all amenities and services such as shopping, entertainment and a hospital are situated just 3 km from Tremp. The hotel is also close to several charming villages and sites, such as Llimiana, Salas de Pallars, La Vall Fosca, the National Park and Sant Aiguestortes Mauric. It is 60 km from the ski slopes of Great Pallars in Ain Port, 170 km from Barcelona and 80 km from Lleida. The train station is around 3 km away and Barcelona Airport is approximately 177 km away. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with bath or shower, a bidet and a hairdryer. Heating and air conditioning feature as standard, and additional facilities include a television with cable/satellite channels and WLAN Internet access. There is an astronomical observatory in the attic of the hotel. Observations are made on request day or night or by appointment. Recently the hotel has incorporated a spa service with a range of massages and spa treatments exclusively for hotel guests. There are many water sports and activities available for a fee, such as aqua fit, waterskiing, diving, windsurfing, motor boating, canoeing and pedal boating. Guests can also enjoy squash, tennis, basketball, bocce, archery and horse riding, all for an additional fee. Continental breakfast, and set menu lunch and dinner are available at the hotel's bar-restaurant. From Barcelona on the NII or A2, exit in Cervera on the L303 and take the C-14 to Artesa de Segre. From here take the L-512 and C1412 in the direction of Comiols until Vilamitjana Tremp. From Madrid - Zaragoza take the A2 to Lleida, then the C-13 detour through Balaguer Camarasa. In Tremp take the detour to Vilamitjana on the C-1412.
