Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Our property, the Hotel und Landgasthof Wurzer, is a family business with a long tradition and intimate atmosphere. It lies in the delightful surroundings of the Oberpfalz Forest. Discover the impressive landscape along the Bavarian-Bohemian border and its countless attractions. Tannesberg is a town with approx. 1,700 inhabitants, in the middle of the nature reserve Nordlicher Oberpfalzer Wald(Northern Upper Palatinate Forest), set on the 700 m Schlossberg. Despite its central location on the Paris-Prague and Berlin-Italy route, Tannesberg has preserved its individual charm and offers visitors a wide and varied range of leisure options. The hotel has 37 rooms with shower, WC and telephone and some also feature TV, radio and balcony. A lift grants guests easy access to all floors. You will have a great view of the picturesque town market place or of the hotel garden with further views over the lovely surrounding landscape. Enjoy our varied cuisine, including light fish dishes or regional delicacies prepared with fresh local products and meat from the hotel farm. One of our specialities is our lamb. We will prepare you something really special. You can look forward to feasts of suckling pig, a barbecue party in the garden with beer on tap or a Bohemian-Bavarian evening with music and dance.
