The Hotel Kutuma is located in an historical part of the city, and is surrounded by high class restaurants, bars and boutique stores. It is also within walking distance to some of Old Montreal’s most popular festivals. The Hotel Kutuma is found at 3708 Rue Saint-Denis in Montreal. It is about half a mile from the Old Port area and near the Basilique de Notre-Dame, an age-old church. The Hotel Kutuma is a three story property and each room contains designer furnishings and very rich fabrics. The beds have down bedding while every room features custom-designed furniture and large work and dining areas. Guests can enjoy air conditioning, cable or satellite TV, DVD players and high speed Internet for their entertainment and communications. A few suites have brick walls and marble sinks. The Hotel Kutuma first opened in 2003 and was renovated shortly after to be a four star boutique hotel. The ambiance of this hotel is that of a stylish looking loft. The on site restaurant is Ethiopian-themed.
