Il Forno Antico is located in the heart of Cilento National Park, 6 Km from the sea. Only a few kilometers away from downtown Palinuro (world renowned sea resort), the spectacular Mount Gelbison, and the most beautiful beaches of the Cilento coast. Gaze at beautiful landscapes, the gulf of Palinuro, wonderful starry skies, magical dawns and lovely sunsets. Spot hawks flying in the wind and wild boars enjoying the breeze. At this charming farmhouse you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. The dedicated team of staff are always on hand to make your stay special. They organise numerous excursions throughout the park including night-time trekking and fishing. Il Forno Antico features a conference room with a maximum capacity of 120. You can take part in cookery and ceramics classes, plus olive oil and wine tasting. The owners produce a lot of food themselves, including meat, cheese, and vegetables. The olive oil and wine come from their own vineyards. The restaurant serves Mediteranean cuisine, vegetarian dishes, and traditional, Neapolitan pizza. Enjoy your meal in the cosy dining room with fireplace or, in warmer weather, on the terrace.
