The memory of Johann Sebastian Bach lives on in and around the Hotel Hohenhaus, close to the town of Eisenach where the German composer was born and spent his childhood. The sublime melancholy of his cello suites can perhaps be attributed to these hilly, wooded landscapes in which the trees take on a thousand different glorious shades in autumn. This is the perfect place to enjoy nature’s charms and treat yourself to a relaxing or active stay devoted to outdoor pursuits and swimming in the indoor pool.
