The historic main house was built in harmonious 'peasant baroque style'. 6 cosy dining rooms are the epitome of a warm welcome and the perfect backdrop to enjoy the exquisite cuisine of authentic regional fare. The lounge bar invites to relax with deep armchairs, an inviting fireplace and a well stocked library. Summer time in the Hirschen is synonymous with memorable meals in the cool shade of the garden. The wine cellar offers a superb collection of top rated European vintages, with a particular preference for best Austrian wines. The main house and Walderhaus offer 33 guest rooms, accommodation ranging from single and double rooms to the hugely popular Romantic Historic Rooms as well as suites and apartments for two and four people. In addition I am very proud to introduce the 'Alpe Rothenbach' as part of the Hirschen family. Walkers and hikers reaching this utterly charming mountain refuge will be rewarded with home-made cheese, milk and bread. The Hirschen is an all year destination: discover magic meadows, mountain peat and the heady scent of hay in the summer, enjoy snow shoeing, skiing or fairy tale sleigh rides in winter - or you may wish to use the 'Walderhaus' to organise your meetings and seminars. Against the backdrop of glorious nature the Hirschen in Schwarzenberg offers a great mix of traditional and cutting-edge architecture, a host of fine art and cultural pursuits, activities galore and relaxation guaranteed - all accompanied by traditional hospitality with a smile.
