Heemskerk Hotel is quietly located yet is still just a short distant from Amsterdam's lively city centre. Many of the most famous museums including the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and the Museum of Modern Art are just a stone's throw away, as is the Vondelpark and Leidseplein that has an exciting nightlife scene. Links to the public transport are to be found within 100 m of the hotel. Built in 1925, the hotel offers a total of 9 double rooms spread over 2 floors as well as an approximately 40 m garden. The hotel is wonderfully equipped with a foyer, safe, currency exchange facility, TV room, buffet breakfast room with non-smoking area and a public Internet terminal. Furthermore there are laundry and room services as well as a doctor on call and a bicycle storage facility.
