Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Hotel Haus am See enjoys a fantastic location at the lake Hallstatter See, right below the Dachstein Mountain. It provides an extensive terrace, a restaurant, a playground for children, a sauna, parking facilities and access to the lake. This hotel offers you traditional Austrian hospitality and a familial atmosphere. After a hiking tour in the mountains you will surely appreciate our plain fare prepared with fresh ingredients. Most of our 24 comfortable double and single rooms were recently renovated and include satellite TV, shower or tub and toilet. All of them have a balcony with either a view to the lake or to the mountains. Enjoy our solid snacks, home made cake or our famous Austrian desserts based on grandmother´s recipes! There are numerous possibilities for sport and leisure activities around the Hallstatter See. You may also visit the town of Hallstadt (UNESCO world culture heritage) with its salt mines and Celtic excavations or the famous Dachstein Caves which will delight the entire family. Hiking, trekking, climbing, cycling, horse-riding, rafting and paragliding are only a few activities which you can enjoy in this region which is also a true paradise for motorbike enthusiasts.
