Other attractions are the Altbockstein, the Montan museum, the Wallfahrtskirche (church), the Knappensiedlung and the famous gold wash place. Arrival by car from the north on the A10 motorway: - Exit Bischofshofen - Continue on the B158 Salzachtal until the exit Gasteinertal and then drive to the Gasteiner Bundesstraße til Bockstein -Turn right to Tauernschleuse/Sportgastein. Arrival by car from the south on the A10 motorway: - Exit Mallnitz-Obervellach. Take the Bundesstrasse til Tauernschleuse . - At Bockstein Bundesstrasse turn left to Sportgastein.
