Welcome to Laerdals-ns Hotel Grandane. A stones-ns throw away, you will find the idyllic village settlement of Old L -rdals yri. Laerdal is located innermost in the Sognefjord. Part of the Sognefjord - the N -r yfjord - was given world heritage status in 2005. World-famous attractions such as the Fl Am railway, Borgund stave church, Aurlandsdalen valley, Jostedalsbreen glacier and the N -r yfjord are all found close to Laerdal. A visit to the antique and handicraft shops in Old L -rdals yri is also recommended, or drop by the Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre. The guests are mainly tourists from all corners of the globe. The very first tourists to visit the area were English salmon fishers and European royalty. Today, visitors arrive to experience the impressive nature, particularly the N -r yfjord and Sognefjord. Close to the hotel, you will find Old L -rdals yri with its 160 listed buildings, as well as the Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre. Borgund stave church, the Fl Am railway and the Snow Road between the fjords are not far away. Hotel Grandane offers reasonably priced accommodation with good service in the heart of Laerdal.
