The Espanya Hotel enjoys a privileged setting and magnificent views of the coastline and the sandy beaches of Calella. It is located between the Mediterranean Sea, Els Pins and the Montnegre Corredor Park. It offers guests a holiday destination near to beaches, the shopping centre and the majority of sights. It is right in the centre of Calella, with its restaurants, bars, links to the public transport network, park and shops. It is 200 metres to the Esglesia de Calella and Els Pins de Calella and guests will find Les Torretes, El Far de Calela and La Roca Grossa 3 km from the hotel. Girona Airport is 52 km away. Renovated in 2008, this family friendly beach hotel can look back on over 45 years of history: starting out as Caf Espanya and a dance club, then some years later, the famous cinema Espanya and eventually, at the end of the 1960's with the onset of tourism from Britain it was transformed into the modern 6-storey, 100-room hotel which guests see now. The hotel is an ideal place for guests travelling alone, with friends or with family. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. It also offers a caf, a bar, a games rooms, a TV lounge and a restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the Internet access (charges apply) and bicycle rental (charges apply). The younger guests will enjoy the children's playground and the kids' club. The rooms at the Espanya hotel have a cosy and personal atmosphere and use individual colour schemes. All enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea, Calella town or Els Pins and come with a private bathroom with a shower and a WC, a safe and either a balcony or a terrace.
