Hotel Capricorne is ideally located in Vendome at the centre of a geographic "star", the points of which include Tours, the Loire chateaux, Orleans and Chartres. Rose garden, balconies looking onto the garden for most rooms - such are the charming features of our lovely hotel just 10' on foot from the town centre. Our restaurant serves traditional and other more refined dishes. We also cater for banquets, weddings, christenings and family reunions. A special function room opening onto the garden is suitable for all sorts of meetings and get-togethers (capacity 100 persons). Visit the centre of Vendome on foot, discover the charms of this town of art and history, the birthplace of Ronsard, royal poet. Visit St James' chapel, so named because it is on the Paris – Chartres – Tours route taken by pilgrims on the St James Way to Santiago de Compostela. The chateau of Lavardin, one of the officially listed Most Beautiful Villages in France. The Wine & Vine House in Thore-la-Rochette - taste and buy local food and wine. Departure point for the tourist train of the Loir valley.
