Location The hotel is located on the legendary Ocean Drive, Breakwater. Visitors may wake up to spectacular sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean, dine in a different world at every meal and party with celebrities all night long. It enjoys a premier location surrounded by the best shopping and nightlife in South Florida. Miami International Airport is approximately 15 km away from the establishment. Facilities The hotel re-opened its doors in 2011 after a multimillion dollar renovation, yet it became famous back in the 1980s when Calvin Klein filmed the advertisement for Obsession perfume featuring supermodel Kate Moss and shot by Bruce Weber on the famed rooftop terrace. After being closed for 5 years, the hotel is once again home to the only completely renovated boutique hotel on the block. The rooms are more spacious than the typical South Beach room. There is also a business centre. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors, further facilities available to guests at this 99-room hotel de charme include a cafe, newspaper stand, supermarket, and a hairdressing salon, as well as a bar, pub, nightclub and a restaurant. Wired and wireless Internet access and both room and laundry services are also provided. Rooms All rooms feature elegant bathrooms with rejuvenating rainforest showers, double sinks, organic cosmetic products and a hairdryer. Furthermore, rooms come with a king-size bed, and some with full-size sofa beds, as well as a foyer area, flat-screen TV, entertainment unit, sitting area, writing desk, high-speed Internet access and an iPod docking station. Alternatively, guests may try their hand at a range of water sports, including jet skiing and sailing, or play a game of volleyball or beach volleyball. Entertainment activities for adults are provided. Fans of the fairway can head to the nearest golf bourse, Miami Beach Gold Club, which is approximately 5 minutes' drive from the establishment. Meals Breakfast is served each morning at the hotel. The Nine Restaurant, located inside the lobby and the courtyard, offers award-winning culinary selections from all around the world. Payment This hotel accepts American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard and VISA payments. Misc. The resort fee, which is not included, includes 2 beach chairs and high-speed Internet. There is a valet parking fee per night with in/out privileges. How to get there Exit the airport and take exit 2 to Miami and Beaches. 112 East becomes 195 East. Take Alton Road exit. Make a left on 10th Street then make a right on Ocean Drive and arrive at the hotel.
