Follow the B1 straight ahead as far as the Hietzinger Kai, then continue straight ahead along Schonbrunner Schlossstrasse; this then merges with Schonbrunner Strasse. Then keep straight ahead as far as the crossroads with the city ring road (known as and signposted as the "Gurtel"). Turn off left onto the Margaretengurtel, then follow the ring road until you come to the Volksoper [Opera House] (Wahringer Gurtel) and there turn right into Wahringer Strasse. Turn left into Boltzmanngasse at the 2nd traffic light, the Hotel Boltzmann is on the right-hand side of the street. From the south: From the A2, turn off into Triester Strasse and follow it all the way as far as the Matzleinsdorferplatz/Gurtel crossroads; here turn off left onto the Margaretengurtel, then follow the ring road until you come to the Volksoper [Opera House] (Wahringer Gurtel) and there turn right into Wahringer Strasse. Turn left into Boltzmanngasse at the 2nd traffic light, the Hotel Boltzmann is on the right-hand side of the street. From the north: Leave the A22 at the Nordbrucke exit. Follow the Donaukanal [Danube Canal] towards the town centre (= downstream) and drive along Heiligenstadter and Nußdorfer Lande as far as the crossroads with the Friedensbrucke/Alserbachstrasse. Turn off right here and follow the Nussdorferstrasse. At the next set of traffic lights (Aida pastry shop on the corner), turn left into Wahringer Strasse. Turn left into Boltzmanngasse at the next traffic light, the Hotel Boltzmann is on the right-hand side of the street. Keep straight ahead along the same street, even though it changes names several times, until you come to Brigittenauer Lande. Before you get to the Friedensbrucke bridge, get into the left-hand lane and cross the Donaukanal [Danube Canal] on the Friedensbrucke bridge. Continue straight ahead along Alserbachstrasse, following the street until it becomes Nussdorferstrasse. At the next set of traffic lights (Aida pastry shop on the corner), turn left into Wahringer Strasse. Turn left into Boltzmanngasse at the next traffic light, the Hotel Boltzmann is on the right-hand side of the street.
