The building was originally a 19th century private residence for one of Corfu’s leading families, then turned into a bank, a consulate, and a girls’ school. The Hotel Bella Venezia has a garden and a lovely gazebo where breakfast and drinks are serviced during the summer, in the middle of lush colorful gardens. It was turned into a hotel in 1988 and renovated in 2006. The lobby bar is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink after a busy day in town.
