A friendly and welcoming 2-star hotel in the very heart of Venice, the Bartolomeo is situated no more than 2 minutes` walk from one of Venice`s most recognisable landmarks, the world-famous Rialto Bridge. Tucked away in a tranquil, typically Venetian alleyway, this small, simply-furnished hotel is carefully maintained and offers all guests rooms with 'views'; either onto an inner courtyard, or the narrow 'calle' in front of the hotel. Due to its size, staff at the Bartolomeo don`t need to rush, and can take their time assisting guests with their itineraries or dining suggestions. Venice is literally 'at your fingertips' when staying in this privately-owned hotel which not only offers value for money, but also a pleasant base from which to discover Europe`s most romantic city (guests should note that due to the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator).
