A four-star hotel with facilities of a high standard. 60 rooms of which 6 suites and 2 apartments and all of which with bath- TV- free Internet- mini bar and a basket with chocolate- red wine and snacks. Weekend stays- mini holidays- golf holidays- theatre stays- Romance and Privacy stays with gourmet dinner as well as party and conference facilities. Free parking. The location invites walks in the wood and along the fjord - and there is also the possibility of going on a sail on the fjord in the summer. The small gravel paths run through the wood right down to Mariager Fjord - which in many peoples opinion is simply Denmarks most beautiful fjord. The wood is called Oesterskov and here in this beautiful area the new Hotel Amerika is situated. Even though Hotel Amerika is a new hotel it is a hotel with a soul. The hotel owner has put a lot of work and shown great care for details in the tasteful furnishing of the hotel. It was crucial to find exactly the right materials and therefore the curtains for example had to be bought as far away as in Italy. Outdoors nature has been so generous to provide beautiful surroundings. You will experience this when visiting the restaurant because from here you can enjoy the view over the wood in its many green nuances. The chef is inspired by the French cuisine and in the cosy and stylish restaurant you can have both a 5- course surprise menu and a 2-course craftsmans menu. In addition it offers of course an a la carte menu both for dinner and lunch as well as the afternoon coffee with home-made cakes. There are 3 magnificent golf courses within a short driving distance and the hotel has new conference premises with room for up to 200 persons. There is therefore every reason to visit Hotel Amerika and the staff of the hotel endeavours to create good experiences for all its guests.
