During the month of July each year AhusStrand BeachSoccer och Ahus Beachhandboll Festival is taking place, which attracts a lot of people and the hotel area and nearby is crowded with people. The famous "Alagille" takes place between the middle of August until November. It is a evening where you eat eel made in 5 different ways, stories about the legendary fish and people fishing it is told during the evening and everything takes place in an old "fishhouse" made for the eel fishermans back in time.
